"Hi there! Zeke here, the heart and soul behind State of the Heart Photography. Let me tell you a little about how I got to this point and what drives my passion.
In October 2023, I got married to my wonderful wife Shay.
Witnessing the love, joy, and all the special little moments shared on that incredible day with my wife reignited this fire inside me to capture the essence of life's most cherished milestones through my photography.
You see, I've always believed that beauty can be found in the simplest of scenes if you just take a moment to really see them. From the seemingly ordinary to the often overlooked details, there's a unique story waiting to be told through my lens. That's what State of the Heart is all about - finding the extraordinary in the everyday and transforming those moments into meaningful works of art you'll cherish forever.

While the beaches are gorgeous, I'm always eager to pack up my gear and travel to capture your family's milestones, wherever they may be. My husband and I had a boy after 6 long years and we knew that getting high quality and stunning photos of his bris was a must so we could remember our special event (and show off a little 😉).
At the same time, we were so overwhelmed by all the other aspects of the bris that we needed a photographer that would make the process as smooth as possible. State of The Heart Photography was a dream come true. Their flexible and easy going nature made them the perfect fit.
They captured every single moment of the simcha from our son being carried to the Mohel to the little kid sneaking off with the last donut.
But it gets even better. Not only did they capture every moment of our bris but with their lighting artistry they were able to capture all of the feelings of those moments as well. The indescribable joy that enveloped my entire being when my son was named, the intensity of the mohel as he said the brachos before the bris and the happiness that exuded from every person who wished my husband mazal tov.
Every time I look at the pictures they took of my son's bris I am blown away by their beauty. The pictures are so clear, so vivid, so full of emotion that I feel like I am experiencing every single part of the simcha all over again.
